Psychological Assessment (ages 6+)

Overview

I provide comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults to clarify learning, attention, emotional, behavioral, and diagnostic concerns. Some assessments involve relatively straightforward questions, such as evaluating for ADHD or a learning disability. Others are requested because the answer is less obvious. A person may be experiencing difficulties that do not fit neatly into a single diagnosis, symptoms might overlap, or previous explanations have not fully explained what is getting in the way of this person's day-to-day functioning. In situations such as these, assessment can help identify underlying patterns, clarify contributing factors, and provide direction for treatment, accommodations at school or work, and other supports that can improve daily functioning.
