About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in psychotherapy for adults and psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, evidence-based, and collaborative approach. I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity-related concerns, and LGBTQ+ and gender-related stressors. Across therapy and assessment, I aim to help clients deepen self-understanding, reduce distress, and move toward a more grounded and meaningful life.

Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic orientation is integrative, with a foundation in interpersonal psychotherapy combined with aspects of psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. The therapeutic relationship is central to this work; I aim to create a comfortable and secure environment where you can feel safe to explore difficulties that interfere with your daily life, deepen your sense of self, and work toward reducing distress.

Assessment Expertise & Professional Experience

I have extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, including evaluations for learning and attention concerns, diagnostic clarification, social–emotional functioning, and complex clinical presentations.

My professional experience includes working for ten years at The Women’s Center in Vienna, Virginia, where I provided psychotherapy and psychological assessment services. For eight of those years, I served as the Psychological Assessment Program Manager, overseeing assessment services, training doctoral students in developing test batteries and interpreting results, and consulting with clinicians regarding assessment-related questions.
