About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in psychotherapy for adults and psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, evidence-based, and collaborative approach. I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity-related concerns, and LGBTQ+ and gender-related stressors. Across therapy and assessment, I aim to help clients deepen self-understanding, reduce distress, and move toward a more grounded and meaningful life.

Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic orientation is integrative, with a foundation in interpersonal psychotherapy combined with aspects of psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. The therapeutic relationship is central to this work; I aim to create a comfortable and secure environment where you can feel safe to explore difficulties that interfere with your daily life, deepen your sense of self, and work toward reducing distress.

Assessment Expertise & Professional Experience

I have extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, including evaluations for learning and attention concerns, diagnostic clarification, social–emotional functioning, and complex clinical presentations.

I spent ten years at The Women’s Center in Vienna, Virginia, where I provided psychotherapy and assessment services. For eight of those years, I served as the Psychological Assessment Program Manager, overseeing assessment services, training doctoral students, and supporting clinicians in developing test batteries and interpreting results.
